Deutsche Bank said trade sources are reporting that Smurfit-Stone Container (Nasdaq: SSCC) will raise containerboard prices by $55/ton on July, following Georgia-Pacific, which they noted earlier was raising prices.
Deutsche Bank said, "The proposed hike is a bit larger than the $40-50/ton increases that are typical in the containerboard market."
