Dahlman Rose upgraded Basic Energy Services (NYSE: BAS) from Hold to Buy with a price target of $25.00.

Dahlman analyst says, "There are several near-term catalysts that could boost shares of BAS. First, we expect Basic to report 4Q11 EPS of $0.65, ahead of consensus of $0.62. Second, we expect positive commentary on Well Service pricing and margins in the press release or in the 4Q conference call. Third, we expect consensus 2012 EPS estimates of $2.51 to be revised upward toward our new 2012 EPS estimate of $2.75 and potentially to $3.00. Fourth, the company could make additional acquisitions that could be accretive to earnings."
