Nokia (NYSE: NOK) shares are catching a modest bid Tuesday afternoon following an earlier upgrade from Avian Securities' Matthew Thornton. While the Dow and S&P 500 are up 0.9 percent and 1.1 percent, respectively, shares of Nokia are up 1.6 percent to $2.55.
The analyst lifted his investment recommendation from Neutral to Positive, also setting a $3.15 price target. Thornton's new price target represents possible upside of about 24 percent from where the stock is currently trading.
