Shares of Altria (NYSE: MO) are 2.5 percent higher mid-day Thursday after Stifel Nicolaus upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy with a price target of $36.00.

The firm said the recent pullback represents an attractive buying opportunity and they see continuation of the 8% EPS growth trajectory.
