Analysts are piling on the 'UGG is dead' trade and shares of Deckers Outdoor Corp. (NASDAQ: DECK) are suffering as a result.
Yesterday, Sterne Agee analyst Sam Poser said UGG sales are off to a slow start to the season and highlighted unheard-of sales popping up online. Today, analysts at OTR Global essentially echoed Sterne Agee's channel work.
OTR Global said UGG sales are underwhelming with poor demand in the summer and a sluggish start to boot season. The firm notes deterioration from the same period last year.
