Twitter is holdings its first Analyst Day today. In part, the company made the following points:

  • The company plans to debut an 'instant timeline' feature
  • The company will explore additional apps beyond Vine
  • Sees growing at or faster than the IDC forecast rate
  • CEO Dick Costolo said more than 500 million unique, logged-out users visit each month
  • The company aims to have the 'largest daily audience' in the world
  • Twitter's competitive advantage includes 'unique' content
  • The company is now measuring impressions from syndication partners
  • The company isn't interested in a music-streaming service. (Traders should keep an eye on Pandora (NYSE: P))
  • Twitter's scope to meet the goal of having the largest daily audience in the world includes 'great content' distribution and an advertising syndication platform
  • The company believes it has about 185 billion unique impressions per quarter
