Solar stocks are getting clocked Thursday on reports Germany is pushing for monthly subsidy cuts versus semi-annual cuts.

Looking around the sector today and the carnage is easy to see:
JA Solar (Nasdaq: JASO) down 14%
Trina Solar (NYSE: TSL) down 12%
Yingli Green (NYSE: YGE) down 11%
Suntech Power (NYSE: STP) down 11%
First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR) down 9%
LDK Solar (NYSE: LDK) down 7%
Canadian Solar Inc. (Nasdaq: CSIQ) down 5%
Renesola (NYSE: SOL) down 1%
