Shares of Citi (C), Morgan Stanley (MS) and BofA (BAC) All Trading Down 5+%
Shares of Citi (NYSE: C), Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) are all trading down approximately 5 percent Monday.
The US's major averages are down between 1.6-1.8 percent on renewed Euro issues partly spurred by a Moody's call Sunday to review credit ratings of all European Union nations despite last week's European fiscal pact. Stocks are also being negatively impacted by Intel's (Nasdaq: INTC) reduced fourth-quarter outlook.
Some bank stocks are trading just slightly lower than the broader markets: Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) (-2.6%), U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) (-2.1%), JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) (-3.0%), Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) (-3.1%), and PNC Financial (NYSE: PNC) (-3.0%).
