S&P Changes: ESL for BUCY; RBCN for ESL; SONO for KNDL

After the close Friday, S&P announced a number of changes to the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices:

• S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Esterline Technologies Corp. (NYSE: ESL) will replace Bucyrus International Inc. (NASDAQ: BUCY) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, and Rubicon Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: RBCN) will replace Esterline Technologies in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 12. S&P 100 & 500 constituent Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) acquired Bucyrus International in a deal completed today.
  
• SonoSite Inc. (NASDAQ: SONO) will replace Kendle International Inc. (NASDAQ: KNDL) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Wednesday, July 13. INC Research LLC is acquiring Kendle International in a deal expected to be completed soon pending final approvals.
