Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) said to be in talks to acquire Aruba Networks (NASDAQ: ARUN).
UPDATE - According to Bloomberg, the deal could be announced as soon as next week. Discussions are still in preliminary stages and may fall apart before a deal is reached, sources said.
Aruba last had a market cap around $2 billion. There wasn't speculation on how much H-P might offer in a takeover.
Up until today's news, Aruba has been relatively quiet in 2015. Shares just got back to the same level they were at when the year started.
Aruba networks was paused following headlines, but is now up over 20 percent on the session.
