Ensco plc (NYSE: ESV) will replace Goodrich Corp. (NYSE: GR) in the S&P 500 index after the close of trading on Monday, July 30. S&P 100 and 500 constituent United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) is acquiring Goodrich in a deal expected to be completed tonight.
