Canadian Pacific Railway (NYSE: CP) is exploring a takeover of Norfolk Southern (NYSE: NSC), according to Bloomberg sources. Canadian Pacific Railway is raising financing and it has held early-stage talks with Norfolk, the report said.
Talks are preliminary and may not lead to a deal.
