Amazon (AMZN) Lurks Near 200-Day as Investors Pause

Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) is showing a little weakness Wednesday, but there may still be a little potential left to the upside.
Looking at a 5-minute chart, Amazon has been hovering within 10 to 15 cents of the 200-day SMA, a measure its hit and bounced up from since announcing the acquisition of Kiva Systems last week. Shares are up about 10 percent since then.
Also of note, implied volatility is in the mid-30 percent range, above the historical volatility of 29 percent. Both are on an upward movement Tuesday.
Overall, Amazon is down about 1.2 percent on the session, firm above $202.
