Network Peers Get a Ride on the Cisco Railroad (JNPR) (APKT) (ARUN) (RVBD) (FFIV)

A number of Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) peers are higher after-hours Wednesday after solid results, commentary and a boosted dividend from the network giant.

Cisco Systems reported Q4 EPS of $0.47, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.46. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $11.61 billion. The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share, or $0.56 annualized. This is up 75% from prior dividend of $0.08.

In sympathy with results, Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR) is up 2%, Acme Packet, Inc. (NASDAQ: APKT) is up 1%, Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN) is up 2%, Riverbed Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: RVBD) is up 2%, F5 Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIV) is up 2%.
