Symantec (NASDAQ: SYMC) reports Q2 EPS of $0.36, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter was $1.47 billion, which compares to the estimate of $1.43 billion.
Symantec sees Q3 EPS of $0.36-$0.37, versus the consensus of $0.37. Sales of $1.48-$1.51 billion, versus the consensus of $1.5 billion.
Announces $1 billion buyback.
