MONTEBELLO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Provident New York Bancorp (NASDAQ: PBNY), the parent company of Provident Bank, today announced that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per share. The dividend is payable November 12, 2009 to holders of record as of November 2, 2009.
