Brinker (EAT) Raises Quarterly Dividend 25% to $0.20; 2.4% Yield; Adds $500M to Buyback

Brinker International, Inc. (NYSE: EAT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share, or $0.8 annualized. This is a 25% increase from the prior dividend of $0.16.
The dividend will be payable on September 27, 2012, to stockholders of record on September 10, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of September 6, 2012.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.4 percent.
Brinker's Board of Directors also authorized an additional $500 million in share repurchases, bringing the total outstanding share repurchase authorization to $626 million as of today's date.
