Euroseas Ltd. (Nasdaq: ESEA) 56.1% HIGHER; announced that it signed a memorandum of agreement to purchase the M/V Capetan Tassos, a Panamax size drybulk carrier of 75,100 dwt built in 2000 in Japan for approximately $4.4 million. The vessel is expected to be delivered to the Company in January 2017. The Company also announced that it reached an agreement with a company affiliated with its CEO to draw a $2 million loan to finance working capital needs. Interest on the loan is payable quarterly, and there are no principal repayments until January 2018 when the loan matures.

Sino-Global Shipping America, Ltd. (Nasdaq: SINO) 45.7% HIGHER; rebounding following a 17 percent slide lower yesterday as volatility remains in the name.

Juno Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: JUNO) 26.6% LOWER; announced that it has voluntarily placed on hold the Phase II clinical trial of JCAR015 in adult patients with relapsed or refractory B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, known as the “ROCKET” trial. The clinical hold was initiated after two patients suffered cerebral edema earlier this week. One patient died and as of last night the other is not expected to recover.

Skyline Medical (Nasdaq: SKLN) 23.0% LOWER; lower following a 108 percent move higher on Tuesday.

Globus Maritime (Nasdaq: GLBS) 21.1% HIGHER; another shipper seeing continued volatility. Shares fell 30 percent yesterday.

AC Immune SA (Nasdaq: ACIU) 16.6% LOWER; shares under pressure today after Eli Lilly announced that announced that its EXPEDITION3 study of solanezumab in Alzheimer's did not meet its primary endpoint; the study showed (likely a very small) trend on cognition (p=.095).

Nimble Storage (NYSE: NMBL) 14.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.18), in-line with the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenue for the quarter came in at $102 million versus the consensus estimate of $101.99 million. Nimble Storage sees Q4 2017 EPS of ($0.13)-($0.15) versus the consensus of ($0.12). Revenue is seen at $112 million to $115 million vs $113.13 million.

QAD, Inc. (Nasdaq: QADA) 14.1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.15, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $69.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $69.25 million. QAD, Inc. sees FY2017 EPS of $0.38-$0.42, versus the consensus of $0.39. QAD, Inc. sees FY2017 revenue of $277-279 million, versus the consensus of $277.9 million.

Concordia International (Nasdaq: CXRX) 12.9% LOWER; lower as shares slip below the $2.50 level on Wednesday. The move adds to a recent two-session slide.

Caleres (NYSE: CAL) 12.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.81, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $732.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $731.45 million. Caleres sees FY2016 EPS of $2.00-$2.10, versus the consensus of $2.02. Caleres sees FY2016 revenue of $2.57-2.60 billion, versus the consensus of $2.57 billion.

Deere & Co. (NYSE: DE) 10.7% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.90, $0.50 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.52 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.38 billion. Net sales and revenues for FY17 are projected to decrease about 1 percent for fiscal 2017 (to about $23.86 billion), while net income attributable to Deere & Company is anticipated to be about $1.4 billion. (NOTE: The Street sees $1.2 billion of net income and $22.72 billion of revenue for FY17.)
