MannKind Corporation (Nasdaq: MNKD) 12.9% LOWER; announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, $50 million worth of units in an underwritten public offering, with each unit consisting of one share of MannKind’s common stock and a warrant to purchase 0.6 of a share of MannKind’s common stock. MannKind also intends to grant to the underwriters of the offering an option to purchase additional units to cover over-allotments, if any.
