AsiaInfo-Linkage (Nasdaq: ASIA) 20% HIGHER; the company's Board of Directors has received a non-binding proposal letter from Power Joy (Cayman) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of CITIC Capital China Partners II, L.P., pursuant to which Power Joy proposes to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of AsiaInfo-Linkage in cash at a price which represents a premium over the current stock price.

(Nasdaq: ALTH) 12.5% LOWER; reports the European Medicines Agency (EMA) Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) has issued an opinion recommending against conditional approval of FOLOTYN® (pralatrexate injection) for the treatment of patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) whose disease has progressed after at least one prior systemic therapy. The Company plans to submit a request for re-examination of the CHMP opinion within two weeks.
Achillion Pharma (Nasdaq: ACHN) 12.3% LOWER; breaking below $10 today. Shares are down about 20 percent this week.
