Unusual 11 Midday Movers 01/10: (OMER) (VOXX) (CRL) (PWRD) Higher; (WBMD) (HMA) (GNOM) (HITK) Lower

WebMD Health Corp. (Nasdaq: WBMD) 27% LOWER; CEO Wayne T. Gattinella resigned and the company terminated discussions regarding a potential corporate transaction. The company also reaffirmed Q4 11 guidance, but said 2012 is that revenue may be as much as 2% to 8% lower than 2011 revenue, with revenues declining more in the first half of the year and improving in the second half of the year.

Omeros Corporation (Nasdaq: OMER) 24.4% HIGHER; reported that it has identified compounds that interact selectively with each of GPR25, GPR32, GPR80, GPR135 and MAS1, bringing the total number of orphan G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) unlocked by Omeros to 23, representing 30 percent of the Class A orphan GPCRs. The move higher adds to a 9 percent surge yesterday.

Voxx (NASDAQ: VOXX) 23.9% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.39, versus $0.19 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $206.8 million, versus $163.2 million reported last year.

Health Management Associates, Inc. (NYSE: HMA) 21.8% LOWER; sees Q4 operating EPS of 25-26 cents on sales of about $1.58 billion. Sees FY12 EPS of 80-90 cents on sales of $6.3-$6.5 billion. Also announced the company's general counsel resigned.

Complete Genomic (NASDAQ: GNOM) 20.3% LOWER; Oppenheimer downgraded the stock from Outperform to Perform and removes their $8 price target as disappointing preliminary 4Q11 results highlighted by further price erosion, slower-than-expected backlog growth, and another operational misstep.

Hi-Tech Pharmacal (Nasdaq: HITK) 18.4% LOWER; nose-diving below the 200-day and $42 level amid reports Wockhardt will make a generic version of Flonase. Hi-Tech currently is developing fluticasone, what would be a competitor in this segment.

Charles River Laboratories Inte (NYSE: CRL) 17% HIGHER; is seeing upside action Tuesday on renewed takeover speculation. Analysts discussed the possibility of a buyout after DealReporter said the company is pursing a sale.

IPG Photonics (Nasdaq: IPGP) 16.3% HIGHER; shares spiked midday following a presentation at the Needham Growth Conference.

Perfect World (Nasdaq: PWRD) 16.1% HIGHER; bouncing over $9 today following a nearly 27 percent plunge yesterday amid rumors of an investigation.

Cirrus Logic (Nasdaq: CRUS) 14% HIGHER; posts Q3 preliminary sales of $122 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $105.08 million. Sees Q4 sales of $105 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $98.5 million. The stock was upgraded at Stifel Nicolaus earlier.

Liz (NYSE: LIZ) 13.9% LOWER; announces its CFO Andrew Warren will be leaving the company. Sees FY11 adj-EBITDA at the low end of its $80-$90 million range. Cuts its FY12 adj-EBITDA outlook from $130-$150 million to $125-$140 million.
