Speedus (Nasdaq: SPDE) 320% HIGHER; after the company announced that its majority owned subsidiary, Density Dynamics, Jet.io Solid State Drive has been certified for compliance with Underwriters Laboratories (UL60950-1) as well as FCC (Part 15 class B) standards.
Crocs (Nasdaq: CROX) 35% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.06, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.21). Revenue for the quarter was $198 million, versus the consensus of $149.94 million. Sees Q3 loss of $0.06-$0.14, versus the consensus of a loss of $0.20, and revs of $150-$160 million, versus the consensus of $140.8 million. Piper upgraded it to Overweight.
Brooks Automation (Nasdaq: BRKS) 25% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.41, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.42). Revenue for the quarter was $43.9 million, versus the consensus of $40.95 million.
CBS (NYSE: CBS) 23% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.08, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $3.01 billion, versus the consensus of $3.04 billion. CBS also re-affirmed its OIBEDA forecast for the year.
Leap Wireless (Nasdaq: LEAP) 22% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.89, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.30). Revenue for the quarter was $597.4 million, versus the consensus of $636.09 million. Several analysts downgraded the stock today.
Apollo Investment (Nasdaq: AINV) 19% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.59 vs. the analyst estimate of $0.34.
China Digital TV (NYSE: STV) 18% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.12, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $14.6 million, versus the consensus of $14.23 million. Sees smart card shipments for the third quarter of 2009 to be in the range of 1.85-2.25 million. Sees Q3 sales of $11.8-$14 million, versus the consensus of $16.64 million.
Ambac Financial (NYSE: ABK) 17% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of ($8.33) which does not compare to the analyst estimate of ($1.04).
