DemandTec (Nasdaq: DMAN) 24% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.04, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenues for the quarter were $17.4 million, versus the consensus of $17.27 million.
DRAXIS (Nasdaq: DRAX) 20% HIGHER; Draxis and Jubilant Organosys today announced that they have entered into an arrangement agreement whereby a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jubilant Organosys Ltd. will acquire all the outstanding common shares of DRAXIS at a price of $6.00 per share in cash by way of a plan of arrangement. The total value of this transaction is approximately $255 million.
Corinthian Colleges (Nasdaq: COCO) 20% HIGHER; shares of post-secondary education companies are higher this AM after leading Democrats introduced bills in the House and Senate to provide more money and liquidity for student loans.
Massey Energy (NYSE: MEE) 18.7% HIGHER; operations produced 9.9 million tons and shipped 9.6 million tons, which were approximately 0.6 million tons and 0.3 million tons less than first quarter 2007, respectively. The first quarter produced and shipped volumes were as expected in light of the rehabilitation and relocation of the electric shovel and the longwalls as previously announced. First quarter average produced coal revenue is projected to be $55.50 to $56.00 per ton, average operating cash cost to be $45.00 to $46.00 per ton, and other income is projected to be $20 million.

AZZ Inc. (NYSE: AZZ) 14.5% LOWER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.60 per share, 1 cent better than estimates. Revenues came in at $76.6 million, versus the consensus of $89 million.
ITT Educational Services Inc. (NYSE: ESI) 13.9% HIGHER; moving higher with much of the post-secondary education sector.
Triad Guaranty (Nasdaq: TGIC) 13.6% LOWER; continues to see downside after the three major credit agencies cut their ratings on the stock. Also the S&P announced that ZOLL Medical (Nasdaq: ZOLL) would replace Triad in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close on April 7.
Blue Coat Systems (Nasdaq: BCSI) 13% LOWER; is taking a dive today on no news. Investors could be reacting to soft preliminary Q1 earnings at Riverbed Technology (Nasdaq: RVBD).
Mosaic (NYSE: MOS) 10.7% HIGHER; reports Q3 earnings of $1.17 per share, ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.95. Revenues rose 68% to $2.15 billion, versus the consensus of $1.92 billion. CEO Jim Prokopanko said, "We are delivering record results by effectively executing against the backdrop of an exceptional agricultural environment."
