Omnicell, Inc. (Nasdaq: OMCL) 32.8% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.19, ex-items, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenues for the quarter were $62.1 million, versus the consensus of $61.20 million.

Syntax-Brillian (Nasdaq: BRLC) 26.4% HIGHER; Baird upgrades from Neutral to Outperform, citing Compal deal and cost cuttting measures recently announced. Price target $3.

Air Tran Holdings (NYSE: AAI) 24% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.38 per share, below the consensus of a $0.31 loss. Revenues came in at $596.39 million, versus the consensus of $599.65 million.

Volterra Semiconductor (Nasdaq: VLTR) 21.1% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.13, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenues for the quarter were $23 million, versus the consensus of $20.44 million.

Bruker Corporation (NASDAQ: BRKR) 20.8% LOWER; yesterday announced Q1 revenues are expected to be in the range of $235-$240 million, versus the consensus of $243.12 million. The Company also announced several charges to its Q1 EPS: $0.06 related to foreign exchange losses and $0.04 related to the acquisition of the Bruker BioSpin Group, which took place in February 2008.

Fuel Systems (Nasdaq: FSYS) 19.5% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.31, versus the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenues for the quarter came in at $79.7 million, versus the consensus of $73.41 million.

BJ Services Company (NYSE: BJS) 17.2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.43, 12 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenues for the quarter were $1.28 billion, versus the consensus of $1.30 billion. Sees Q3 EPS in the range of $0.39-$0.43, versus the consensus of $0.50.

Woodward (Nasdaq: WGOV) 15.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.43, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.38. Revenues for the quarter were $305.8 million, versus the consensus of $284.29 million.

Zoran Corporation (Nasdaq: ZRAN) 15.2% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.07, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenues for the quarter were $109 million, versus the consensus of $106.68 million. Sees Q2 adj-EPS of $0.14-$0.18, versus the consensus of $0.18.

Beacon Power (Nasdaq: BCON) 14% HIGHER; shares have spiked intraday despite no news. At 11:46 ET, Beacon's stock price was at $1.06. By 12:14, the price had spiked to $1.22.
