Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 3/15: PABK, CHRD, SINO, CIGX, CXG Higher; GKK, BOFL, BSX, STRL Lower

PAB Bankshares (Nasdaq: PABK) 49% HIGHER; the stock is continuing higher today after a 27% jump on Friday. Shares appear to be holding over the $2 level. The stock hasn't been over $2 since January.

Chordiant Software (Nasdaq: CHRD) 30.5% HIGHER; Pegasystems (Nasdaq: PEGA) to acquire Chordiant for $5/share.

Sino-Global Shipping America (Nasdaq: SINO) 28.3% HIGHER; traders are buying the stock today following a dip on Friday amid Q2 earnings. Technicians are likely buying the stock today as shares surged over the $4 level today. The stock has not been over this level since September of last year.

Gramercy Capital Corp. (NYSE: GKK) 27.5% LOWER; reports Q4 FFO of ($1.44), cents better than the analyst estimate of ($2.78). Revenue for the quarter was $158.1 million, which compares to the estimate of $148.19 million.

Star Scientific (Nasdaq: CIGX) 20.9% HIGHER; upside momentum in this stock continues. In the last month of trading (a total of 20 trading sessions), the stock has only closed lower once. Shares surged more than 40% last week. Volume remains very heavy.

Bank of Florida (Nasdaq: BOFL) 17.9% LOWER; the stock has now fallen nearly 30% since announcing a $45 million equity offering on Friday of last week.

CNX Gas (NYSE: CXG) 15.7% HIGHER; benefiting from news that Consol Energy (NYSE: CNX) has agreed to acquire Dominion Resources (NYSE: D) Appalachian natural gas properties for $3.48 billion in cash.

Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) 15.4% LOWER; shares are getting slammed after the company suspended all sales of its implantable cardioverter defibrillators due to documentation error. The stock was also downgraded at JPMorgan.

Sterling Construction (NASDAQ: STRL) 15.1% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.03, versus ($0.25) reported for the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter was $71.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $100.30 million, and $109.27 million for Q408.

American Railcar Industries (Nasdaq: ARII) 15% HIGHER; KeyBanc upgraded the stock to Buy this morning. Click here for the full report.

Gray Television, Inc. (NYSE: GTN) 14.6% LOWER; reports preliminary Q4 sales of $77.52 million, which compares to the estimate of $71.32 million.
