IDM Pharma (Nasdaq: IDMI) 72.8% HIGHER; rose by 40% yesterday after the Company announced that a late-stage clinical trial for its rare bone cancer drug returned positive results and reduced the risk of death by 30%. Today, shares of IDM continue to show strong momentum as the shares are surging even more than yesterday when the news was released.

SiRF Technology Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRF) 52% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.28, 4 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenues for the quarter were $100.4 million, versus the consensus of $100.99 million.

Rainmaker Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: RMKR) 50% LOWER; has been notified by a significant client of a change in corporate direction and intent to bring work in-house, resulting in a termination of its agreement with Rainmaker. The notification communicated on February 1, 2008 indicated the client intends to bring in approximately half of the business internally today, and the remainder over a transition period of the next three months. Based on preliminary unaudited results, this client represented approximately 25% of Rainmaker's 2007 fourth quarter revenue, down from 28% in the preceding quarter and 35% in the year-ago quarter.

ARM Holdings plc (Nasdaq: ARMHY) 19.6% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.66. Revenues for the quarter were $130.3 million, unchanged from the same quarter last year.

VCA Antech, Inc. (NASDAQ: WOOF) 17.9% LOWER; sees Q4 EPS of $0.28-$0.29, versus the consensus of $0.28. Sees FY EPS of $1.40-$1.41, versus the consensus of $1.41. Sees Q4 revs of $284 million, versus the consensus of $290.5 million. Sees FY revs of $1.16 billion, versus the consensus of $1.16 billion.

Perot Systems Corp. (NYSE: PER) 16.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.35, versus the consensus of $0.30. Revenues came in at $732 million, versus the consensus of $708 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.21-$0.23, versus the consensus of $0.21. Sees Q1 revs of $665-$680 million, versus the consensus of $673.5 million.

Powerwave Technologies (Nasdaq: PWAV) 14.7% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of ($0.07), 5 cents lower than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenues for the quarter were $230.6 million, versus the consensus of $227.12 million.

Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR) 13.7% HIGHER; reports Q4 earnings of $2.38 per share, above the consensus of $2.15. Revenues came in at $5.33 billion, versus the consensus of $5.27 billion. Sees FY08 EPS of $8.50-$9.00 versus the consensus of $8.81.

Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) 13.2% HIGHER; shares are jumping today despite earnings that fell 65% from last year as a result of higher costs driven by expansion projects in Vegas and Macau. Apparently, investors thought the quarter was better than expected. Also, Morgan Stanley upgraded Las Vegas Sands to Overweight.

Standard Pacific Corp. (NYSE: SPF) 13% HIGHER; reported a Q4 loss of $6.80 per share, and EPS of $0.07 ex-impairment and tax valuation allowance charges. Homebuilding revenues for the quarter were $933.6 million vs. $1.2 billion last year. Standard Pacific said cash flows from operating activities for the quarter was $348 million.

Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTU) 10.5% HIGHER; today announced that Sheldon Berkle has resigned as the Company's President, CEO and member of the Board of Directors, effective yesterday, Feb. 4. The Board has appointed David Pendergast, Altus' Chairman of the Board, to the position of interim Executive Chairman, while the Company performs a search for a full-time replacement to fill the CEO and President positions.
