Virginia Commerce Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCBI) 36.7% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.11, compared to $0.04 in the same quarter last year. The stock was also upgraded to Outperform at Raymond James.

Dearborn Bancorp (Nasdaq: DEAR) 35.8% HIGHER; crazy trading in the stock over the last two weeks or so. After jumping more than 230% on Wednesday and Thursday of last week, the stock sold-off 23% on Friday and 17% on Monday. Volume could be heavier today than during any of the last 4 trading sessions.

TheStreet.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSCM) 27.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.01, compared to $0.03 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $15 million, versus $18.4 million in Q208. Reports Q3 loss of $0.05 on sales of $15.2 million. Last year, TheStreet.com reported Q3 sales of $17 million on a loss of $0.03. Sees Q4 paid services revenue of $9.5-$9.7 million. The stock was also upgraded to Outperform at JMP.

PLX Technology (NASDAQ: PLXT) 20.3% HIGHER; reports Q4 adjusted EPS of $0.09, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter was $26.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $23.84 million. Says revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2010, are expected to be between $27.0 million and $29.0 million. (Consensus is $23.61 million)

China Biologic Products (Nasdaq: CBPO) 19.5% LOWER; technicians are selling the stock this afternoon as the price has broken below the $10 level for the first time since early-December. Volume has already doubled the average daily volume.

Volterra Semiconductor Corporation (Nasdaq: VLTR) 18% HIGHER; reports Q4 non-GAAP EPS of $0.34 (GAAP EPS of $0.28) vs. consensus of $0.21. Revenues were $34.2 million vs. $32.21 million consensus. The stock was also upgraded at Needham and Collins Stewart.

Parexel (NASDAQ: PRXL) 16.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.26, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.22. Revenue for the quarter was $284.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $281.25 million. Sees Q3 adjusted EPS $0.25 - $0.28, versus $0.25. Sales $288 - $293 million, versus $287.9 million consensus. Raises FY10 guidance. Sees sales from $1.17 - $1.22 billion to $1.18 - $1.22 billion. Consensus sees $1.12 billion. EPS from $1.00 - $1.15 to $1.05 - $1.19, versus $0.95 consensus. The stock was also upgraded to Outperform at Raymond James.

Maui Land & Pineapple (NYSE: MLP) 16.7% LOWER; continuing lower today. The stock feel more than 14% yesterday amid no news. Volume remains very heavy -- in fact heavier than yesterday.

SMTC Corp. (Nasdaq: SMTX) 14.3% LOWER; correcting today following 4 straight days of upside. Over this period, the stock rose by more than 61%.

StealthGas Inc. (Nasdaq: GASS) 14.2% LOWER; announced today that on December 9, 2009 it completed the sale of the Gas Fortune, a 1995 built 3,500 LPG carrier to an unaffiliated entity based in the Far East. The aggregate sale price for these three vessels is approximately $20.0 million and will result in a net inflow of cash to the Company of approximately $14.3 million after the repayment of debt associated with the Gas Eternity and commission expenses. As a result of these sales either concluded or agreed during the fourth quarter of 2009 the Company will incur a non-cash loss from sales/impairment of $9.8 million, this will be reflected in the Company's fourth quarter results to be announced in February 2010. The Company also announced following protracted negotiations with the seller of the Stealth Argentina in regard to various technical deficiencies identified in the design of the vessel that it has entered into an agreement to cancel both the purchase of the vessel and the three year bareboat charter that was to commence upon the vessel's delivery. In consideration of the agreement the Company will pay the sum of $10,750,000 to the seller on top of the already paid deposit.

Bolt Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: BOLT) 12.2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.17, cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter was $8.68 million, which compares to the estimate of $9.91 million.
