MoSys, Inc. (Nasdaq: MOSY) 43% HIGHER; MoSys and Invensas Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tessera Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRA) entered into a patent purchase agreement. Under the agreement, Invensas purchased 43 United States and 30 foreign memory technology patents from MoSys for $35 million in cash.
CAMAC Energy Inc. (Amex: CAK) 14.8% HIGHER; today announced that it has been informed that Nigerian Agip Exploration, a subsidiary of Eni SpA, its partner in Nigerian OMLs 120 and 121, has signed a definitive agreement to divest its 40% working interest in the OMLs to Allied Energy PLC. Delcath (Nasdaq: DCTH) 14.5% LOWER; announced it has entered into a sales agreement with Cowen and Company for up to $39.75 million in common shares. Also filed a $100 million mixed securities shelf. The stock is up about 80 percent since December 19th.

Synthesis Energy Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYMX) 8.9% LOWER; announced that it, China Energy Industry Holding Group Co. and Zhongjixuan Investment Management Company Ltd. have mutually agreed to an extension of the closing period of their share purchase agreement dated March 31, 2011 and amended on August 17, 2011, through March 31, 2012. While the parties have indicated their support for this investment, this extension was necessary in order to allow time for Yima Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd. and its advisors to complete their due diligence and reviews of its proposed investment, including evaluating efficient structures for the proposed transactions.
Keryx Biopharma (Nasdaq: KERX) 8.4% HIGHER; moved over the 200-day average just after the open, then bounced sharply away after testing the level. Volume is somewhat light today.
SemiLEDs (Nasdaq: LEDS) 8.4% LOWER; after surging 19 percent on Wednesday following a break over the $3.50 level, the stock is continuing to give back gains today. Shares fell about 3 percent yesterday. The stock is back below $3.50 today.
