BCD Semiconductor Manufacturing Limited (Nasdaq: BCDS) 91.9% HIGHER; Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD) and BCD Semiconductor announced that Diodes has entered into an Agreement and Plan of Merger to acquire BCD.

Enphase Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENPH) 14.3% HIGHER; moving above the $3.50 level on volume. No direct news is out on the stock.

Amyris, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMRS) 8.7% LOWER; has completed a $42.25 million private placement of its common stock. In addition, Amyris announced its purpose-built industrial fermentation facility in Brazil has successfully begun production of Biofene, Amyris' brand of renewable farnesene.

Deckers Outdoor Corp. (Nasdaq: DECK) 8.5% HIGHER; As noted earlier, the winter storm hitting the Eastern U.S. might be a boon for UGG sales.

Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd. Central European Distribution Corporation (Nasdaq: CEDC) 7.1% LOWER; continuing to see pressure after issuing 3 million shares to Roust Trading on December 20th.

WSP Holdings (NYSE: WH) 6.9% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($1.11), $0.30 worse than last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $141.3 million versus $189 million last year.
