Acorn International, Inc. (NYSE: ATV) 23.1% HIGHER; has through its wholly-owned subsidiary China DRTV, Inc., agreed to purchase via a negotiated transaction a total of 7,859,550 ordinary shares (equivalent to 2,619,850 American Depositary Shares ("ADSs")) in the form of ordinary shares and ADSs from a limited number of former company employees and their affiliates, representing the entire shareholdings in the Company held by such individuals. The purchase price of $1.1 per ordinary share (equivalent to $3.3 per ADS) was established based on, among other factors, a discount of 15.2 % to the Company's cash assets value per share as of September 30, 2012.

Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ALXA) 13.7% LOWER; announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved ADASUVE® (loxapine) Inhalation Powder 10 mg for the acute treatment of agitation associated with schizophrenia or bipolar I disorder in adults. Additionally, the press release read, " It is important to note that ADASUVE can cause bronchospasm that has the potential to lead to respiratory distress and respiratory arrest. ADASUVE will be available only through a restricted program under a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) called the ADASUVE REMS."

Golden Star Resources (AMEX: GSS) 13.2% HIGHER; making a strong move back above the key $1.70 price level.

E-House (China) Holdings Limited (NYSE: EJ) 12.9% HIGHER; moving on expectations of improving real estate prices in China.

Alimera Sciences (Nasdaq: ALIM) 12.5% HIGHER; saw some insiders exercise options and retain stock, as disclosed in a handful of Form 4 filings last Friday.

Hyperdynamics Corp. (NYSE: HDY) 12.1% LOWER; moving lower following a 18 percent jump higher late last Friday.

Ampal-American (Nasdaq: AMPL) 11.1% LOWER; reeling after popping over 140 percent last week.

SUPERVALU (NYSE: SVU) 8.5% LOWER; SUPERVALU also saw some late action last Friday. The company has been aiming to sell itself for a while, with nothing too much to show for it. Cerberus has been interested in certain assets of the grocer.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (NYSE: GOL) 8.0% HIGHER; announces the segregation of the activities related to the "Smiles" loyalty program, currently managed by the subsidiary VRG Linhas Aereas S.A. ("VRG") and which will henceforth be conducted by Smiles S.A., a recently constituted company controlled by the Company. GOL may IPO the unit shortly.

Lucas Energy, Inc. (AMEX: LEI) 8.0% LOWER; made a 14.5 percent move higher last week following news it would sell a small stake in its Baker Deforest Unit and that Ryan J. Morris was appointed as chairman.
