eOn Communications Corp. (Nasdaq: EONC) 28.6% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.09, versus $0.14 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $5.86 million, compared to $4.53 million in Q110.

China Technology Development Group Corporation (Nasdaq: CTDC) 26.1% HIGHER; announces the appointment of Liao Lin-Hsiang as the Chief Operating Officer and Bruno Diaz Herrera as Chief Technology Officer.

Revenue for the quarter was $23.9 million, compared to $18.1 million in Q309.

Emergency Medical (NYSE: EMS) 18.4% HIGHER; DealReporter story suggesting that the company has hired Goldman Sachs in order to evaluate a sale process.

Cypress Bioscience, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYPB) 18.4% HIGHER; announced that their Board has rejected the $6.00 per outstanding common share takeover bid by Ramius.

Genoptix (Nasdaq: GXDX) 16.4% HIGHER; shares are on the moving in after-hours trading following a Bloomberg report which rumors that the company has hired Barclays in order look for strategic buyers.

Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) 15.4% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.54, vs. the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.89 billion, versus the consensus estimate of $12.47 billion. Comps down 3.3%. Lowers its FY11 EPS from $3.55-$3.70 to $3.20-$3.40, vs. the consensus of $3.59.

NetSol Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: NTWK) 12.3% HIGHER; disclosed that their CEO, Najeeb Ghauri, purchased 278,846 common shares on December 10, 2010. Specifically, Ghauri acquired 125,000 shares on 12/10 at $1.49 and 153,846 shares on 12/10 at $1.51, bringing his stake to 1,728,546 shares.
