(Nasdaq: CEDC) 25.1% HIGHER; in a 13D filing on CEDC after the close Wednesday afternoon, Russian Standard Corp. disclosed a letter sent to CEDC on December 6th which proposed a deal between the two which could "result in substantial benefits to the Issuer including increased cash flow, increased revenue, higher efficiency and cost savings." G-III Apparel Group Ltd (NASDAQ: GIII) 18.7% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $2.16, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $2.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $510 million versus the consensus estimate of $497.49 million. Slashes its FY12 EPS guidance from $3.05-$3.15 to $2.50-$2.60, which compares to the current Street estimate of $2.80. Affirms sales guidance of about $1.25 billion. Reports license for development of Calvin Klein Women's Performance Retail Stores.
Pacific Sunwear Of California (NASDAQ: PSUN) 14.5% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.10), $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $242 million versus the consensus estimate of $232.77 million. Total Company same-store sales decreased 3% during the period. Pacific Sunwear Of California sees Q4 2011 EPS of ($0.18)-($0.27), versus the consensus of ($0.26).
