Mitel Networks Corp (Nasdaq: MITL) 28.9% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.25, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $145.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $142.47 million.

Mastech Holdings (AMEX: MHH) 25.2% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $2.00 per share. The dividend will be payable on December 21, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 20, 2012. The annual yield on the dividend is 36.4 percent.

Richmont Mines Inc. (AMEX: RIC) 24.1% LOWER; announced the immediate closure of the Francoeur Mine and the suspension of exploration activities on the Wasamac gold property. Both assets are located near Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPHM) 19.8% HIGHER; Peregrine continues on its parabolic move higher today. The pharma has closed higher 11 of the last 12 sessions, rising nearly 100 percent in the process.

Tellabs, Inc. (Nasdaq: TLAB) 15.8% HIGHER; Tellabs declared a $1 per share special dividend, with yield at about 33 percent. The company also appointed a new CEO in Daniel Kelly.

VeriSign, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRSN) 13.3% LOWER; announced the U.S. Department of Commerce approved the renewal of Verisign's agreement with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to serve as the authoritative registry operator for the .com registry for the term commencing on Dec. 1, 2012 through Nov. 30, 2018 with certain new terms and conditions.
