China BAK Battery, Inc. (Nasdaq: CBAK) 72.7% HIGHER; making a strong move back above the key $2 level on tremendous volume today.
EntreMed, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENMD) 29.4% HIGHER; announced the publication of favorable results of a preclinical study in breast cancer of its oral Aurora A/angiogenic kinase inhibitor, ENMD-2076. In this study, a diverse panel of twenty-nine breast cancer cell lines representative of the clinically defined breast cancer subtypes were exposed to ENMD-2076 and the effects on proliferation, apoptosis, and cell cycle distribution were evaluated. ENMD-2076 demonstrated more robust activity against cell lines of the TNBC subtype compared to the luminal and HER2-amplified subtypes. This in vitro activity was confirmed in vivo, in MDA-MB-468 and MDA-MB-231 TNBC xenografts.

Generac Holdings (NYSE: GNRC) 7.0% LOWER; announced an underwritten secondary offering of 11,500,000 shares of its common stock by certain selling stockholders pursuant to the Company’s shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, the underwriters will have an option to purchase up to 1,725,000 additional shares from certain of the selling stockholders. The selling stockholders include funds affiliated with CCMP Capital and members of the Company’s board of directors and senior management. The selling stockholders will receive all of the proceeds from this offering. No shares are being sold by the Company.
