Flagstar Bancorp Inc. (NYSE: FBC) 42.7% LOWER; reports Q3 loss of $0.15, vs. the analyst estimate of ($0.30) and compared to a loss of 63c during the same quarter last year. Net servicing revenue for the quarter was $23.2 million. The bank also announced that they priced a 110 million common offering at $1.00 per share, and a 13.5 million convertible preferred offering at $20 per share. Gross proceeds from the offering were $367.3 million.

According to the terms of the deal, Carlyle will pay $31 per share in cash for all outstanding shares of Syniverse, representing a 35 percent premium over the average closing price of the stock for the 30-day period ended October 26.
