Sarepta Therapeutics (Nasdaq: SRPT) 162.7% HIGHER; announced that treatment with its lead exon-skipping compound, eteplirsen, met the primary efficacy endpoint, increase in novel dystrophin, and achieved a significant clinical benefit on the primary clinical outcome, the 6-minute walk test (6MWT) over the placebo/delayed treatment cohort in a Phase IIb extension trial in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) patients.

BIOLASE, Inc. (Nasdaq: BIOL) 42.8% HIGHER; received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Conformit European (CE) Mark approval for its EPIC 10" diode soft tissue laser.

Vringo, Inc. (AMEX: VRNG) 28.2% HIGHER; a federal judge ordered settlement talks with Google, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) over pending patent litigation. The judge refused to end the case in Google's favor, according to documents. For more color, click here.

Gastar Exploration Ltd. (AMEX: GST) 22.2% LOWER; late Tuesday, Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) and its wholly-owned subsidiary Chesapeake Exploration L.L.C. filed a lawsuit against Gastar Exploration Ltd. (NYSE MKT: GST) and certain of its subsidiaries in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. The lawsuit is based on claims previously described in Gastar's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2011. The lawsuit seeks rescission of certain transactions that closed in 2005 involving Gastar's Hilltop Prospect in Leon and Robertson Counties in Texas and an investment in Gastar's common stock by Chesapeake. In addition to its original initial investment of $81.6 million, Chesapeake is seeking reimbursement of additional lease and well costs allegedly expended by them.

BioLineRx Ltd. (Nasdaq: BLRX) 21.5% HIGHER; filed a registration with the U.S. SEC to sell, from time to time, up to 4,198,598 American Depositary Shares, representing 41,985,980 Ordinary Shares, on behalf of selling shareholders.

Aeterna Zentaris Inc. (Nasdaq: AEZS) 15.9% LOWER; announced that the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company have been consolidated on a six (6) to one (1) basis effective as of October 2, 2012. The purpose of the Consolidation is to enable the Company to attempt to regain compliance with NASDAQ's minimum bid price requirement.

Ocwen Financial Corporation (NYSE: OCN) 15.9% HIGHER; and private equity firm WL Ross & Co. LLC entered into an agreement today whereby Ocwen will acquire Homeward Residential Holdings, Inc., including its various residential mortgage loan servicing and origination operating subsidiaries, for approximately $588 million in cash and $162 million in Ocwen convertible preferred stock.

Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. (Nasdaq: ASPS) 14.9% HIGHER; moving to a new annual high of $101.30 as shares move above the $95 level on volume today. Could be getting a kick from Ocwen's acquisition today.

Xyratex, Ltd. (Nasdaq: XRTX) 14.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.37, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $275.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $316.33 million. Sees Q4 2012 EPS of ($0.15) - $0.43, versus the consensus of $0.49. Xyratex, Ltd. sees Q4 2012 revenue of $235 - $285 million, versus the consensus of $327.90 million.

Leap Wireless (Nasdaq: LEAP) 14.5% LOWER; lower following the Deutsche Telekom/MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) deal announced today.

Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: RIGL) 8.4% LOWER; today announced the pricing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 13,685,000 shares of its common stock, offered at a price of $9.50 per share to the public
