Pacific Booker Minerals Inc. (AMEX: PBM) 65.7% LOWER; getting absolutely cobbered today on gobs of volume. Normally, only about 1,700 shares trade daily, but that number is nearly 900,000 at midday.
ArQule, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARQL) 54.1% LOWER; ArQule and Daiichi Sankyo, Co., Ltd. (TSE 4568) announced that the independent Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) of the Phase 3 MARQUEE (Met inhibitor ARQ 197 plus Erlotinib vs Erlotinib plus placebo in NSCLC) trial recommended the study be stopped early following a planned interim analysis, when they concluded that the study would not meet its primary endpoint of improved overall survival.
MSCI Inc. (Nasdaq: MSCI) 28.9% LOWER; said that Institutional Shareholder Services received a Wells Notice on September 14th from the Division of Enforcement of the SEC indicating its intent to recommend to the SEC a public administrative proceeding against ISS for violations of Sections 204A and 206 of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and Rule 206(4)-7 thereunder. Express, Inc. (NYSE: EXPR) 22.3% LOWER; currently expects third quarter fiscal 2012 comparable sales to decline in the mid single digit range. Net income for the third quarter of fiscal 2012 is currently expected in the range of $14 million to $17 million, or $0.16 to $0.20 per diluted share on 86.4 million weighted average shares outstanding. The Company expects to report actual third quarter fiscal 2012 results the week of November 26, 2012. The Company plans to update its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2012 guidance when it reports third quarter results in November. The Street sees EPS of $0.29.

(NYSE: EXM) 14.2% HIGHER; has agreed with its lenders under its $1.4bn syndicated credit facility to effectively extend, subject to certain conditions, its equity raising commitment through December 31, 2012 and waived certain covenants. In addition, on October 1, 2012, Excel exercised its option to defer the installment of $24.3mn due on that date.

UQM Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: UQM) 12.3% HIGHER; has signed a memorandum of understanding with a major Chinese company for the development and marketing of UQM electric propulsion systems for New Energy Vehicles (NEV) in China. Under the agreement, UQM and its China-based partner will work collaboratively to introduce UQM products into the Chinese market for use in New Energy Vehicles.
