Skilled Healthcare Group, Inc. (NYSE: SKH) 34.0% HIGHER; announced the postponement of court proceedings with regards to the case entitled VINNIE LAVENDER, by and through her Conservator, WANDA BAKER; WALTER SIMON; JACQUELYN VILCHINSKY vs. SKILLED HEALTHCARE GROUP, INC., et al (and 22 individually-named California nursing facilities receiving administrative services from Skilled Healthcare, LLC).

Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE) 22.4% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.08, below the analyst estimate of $0.12 profit. Revenue for the quarter was $251.9 million, which compares to the estimate of $263.60 million.

Saks (NYSE: SKS) 22.0% HIGHER; reports from the Daily Mail that a private equity consortium, comprised of U.S. and U.K. players, is looking to make a bid for the company. A bid could be $11 per share.

CPI Corp. (NYSE: CPY) 17.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.25, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.90). Revenue for the quarter was $76.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $74.92 million. Comps down 8% for the quarter.

icad Inc. (Nasdaq: ICAD) 14.7% HIGHER; after reaching a 52-week high following the receipt of U.S. FDA clearance for VeraLook, shares have been on a little selloff for the balance of August. The company ringing the Nasdaq closing bell today, in awareness of prostate cancer awareness month, may be bringing attention back to the shares.

Energy Conversion Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENER) 14.3% HIGHER; reports Q4 adjusted loss of $0.32, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.60). Revenue for the quarter was $86.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $72.34 million. Sees Q1 revenues of $63 - $68 million, versus the consensus of $80 million. Sees FY11 revenues of $280 - $330 million, versus the consensus of $333.8 million.

Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. (Nasdaq: WINN) 13.2% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.25, 10 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $1.7 billion vs. $1.77 billion consensus. The company also provided FY11 guidance.

Hutchinson Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: HTCH) 13.0% LOWER; pulling back today after closing 21.4% higher yesterday. M&A in the tech sector is making some stocks a little more volatile than usual.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: LGF) 12.6% HIGHER; Carl Icahn increased his tender offer for all outstanding shares of the company by 15%, from $6.50 to $7.50.

Mediacom Communications Corp. (Nasdaq: MCCC) 12.2% LOWER; CEO drops his bid to take the company private

Strayer Education Inc. (Nasdaq: STRA) 10.5% LOWER; continuing lower today amid hedge fund manager Steve Eisman reportedly shorting the shares, as he doesn't believe the company's numbers about delinquent students are accurate. He has been short other for-profit schools for some time.
