CompuCredit Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: CCRT) 33.3% HIGHER; announced Tuesday night that it commenced a cash tender offer for up to 8,250,000 shares of its outstanding common stock, no par value per share, at a purchase price of $10.00 per share.

Gold Standard Ventures Corp (AMEX: GSV) 22.9% HIGHER; moving higher along with gold stocks today, as traders are playing the potential for more easing. Blyth (NYSE: BTH) 18.1% HIGHER; announced that its ViSalius unit filed for an IPO of its common stock. Blyth will still have a majority stake in ViSalius following the IPO, which has a tentative price of $175 million.
Venoco, Inc. (NYSE: VQ) 17.7% HIGHER; announced today that it has been informed by Denver Parent Corporation, an affiliate of Timothy Marquez, Venoco's Executive Chairman, that DPC is engaged in advanced discussions regarding the financing of the merger contemplated by the merger agreement among Venoco, Mr. Marquez, DPC and another affiliate of Mr. Marquez.
