Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: NUS) 22.8% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.13, $0.14 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $650 million versus the consensus estimate of $709.03 million. The company sees Q3 2014 EPS of $0.90 - $0.95, versus the consensus of $1.68. Nu Skin Enterprises sees Q3 2014 revenue of $620 - $640 million, versus the consensus of $847.5 million.
Sprint Corporation (NYSE: S) 18.8% LOWER; announced that its Board of Directors named Marcelo Claure as the company’s next President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 11. Claure joined the Sprint Board of Directors in January and is the Founder and CEO of Brightstar Corp., a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp. The company is also said to have abandon plans to acquire T-Mobile.
Enphase Energy (Nasdaq: ENPH) 18.9% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.01), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $82 million versus the consensus estimate of $71.11 million. Enphase Energy sees Q3 2014 revenue of $93-98 million, versus the consensus of $78.3 million.
Lincoln Educational Services (Nasdaq: LINC) 18.5% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of ($0.51), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.54). Revenue for the quarter came in at $77.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $78.26 million. The company sees Q314 EPS of ($0.20) - ($0.14), versus the consensus of $0.03. Lincoln Educational Services also sees Q314 revenue of $83 - $85 million, versus the consensus of $89.9 million.
Cytori Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CYTX) 17.1% LOWER; the company said it placed enrollment in the ATHENA and ATHENA II trials on clinical hold and therefore anticipates that it will not be possible to complete enrollment of the ATHENA I trial prior to the end of 2014 as previously anticipated. The decision to place the trials on hold was based on a safety review of reported cerebrovascular events. Symptoms occurred in three patients, of which two patients’ symptoms fully resolved within a short period of time and the third patient has had substantial resolution of symptoms. Such events had not been previously reported in Cytori’s other cardiovascular trials and appear to be related in part to the medical co-morbidities in the treated population and the complex nature of the procedures involved in the trial.
Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATSG) 16.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.14, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $149.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $145.72 million. The company also announced its Board of Directors has authorized the Company to repurchase up to $50 million of its common shares.
ARC Document (NYSE: ARC) 14.4% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.10, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.08. Revenue for the quarter came in at $109 million versus the consensus estimate of $109.18 million. ARC Document reaffirmed FY2014 guidance.
MIND C.T.I. Ltd. (Nasdaq: MNDO) 13.0% HIGHER; reported Q2 revs of $6.29 million and EPS of $0.08, from revs of $4.42 million and EPS of $0.02 posted in the same period last year.
Caesarstone (Nasdaq: CSTE) 12.2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.58, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $116.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $105.15 million. Caesarstone sees FY2014 revenue of $435 - $445 million, versus prior guidance of $420 - $430 million and the consensus of $429.2 million.
WPX Energy (NYSE: WPX) 11.6% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.24, versus $0.46 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $38.8 million, versus $41.8 million reported last year.
