Revenue for the quarter was $164.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $168.79 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.27-$0.32 on sales of $159-$165 million. Sees FY10 sales of $750-$780 million on EPS of $2.09-$2.24. The stock was downgraded at Janney, Barrington and Citi.

Network Engines (Nasdaq: NENG) 32.3% LOWER; reports Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.03, even with the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter was $61.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $69.03 million. Sees Q4 revs of $55 - $60 million, compared to the consensus of $80.11 million.

Quantum (NYSE: QTM) 25.3% LOWER; reports Q1 non-GAAP profit of $0.04, versus the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter was $163 million, which compares to the estimate of $175.30 million.

AsiaInfo (Nasdaq: ASIA) 24.0% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.29, 3 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter was $66.86 million, which compares to the estimate of $67.95 million. The stock was also downgraded at Pacific Crest.

Virginia Commerce Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCBI) 22.1% HIGHER; today announced that it has withdrawn its public offering of $75 million in common stock.

Covance (NYSE: CVD) 21.7% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.49, even with the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter was $475 million, which compares to the estimate of $478.06. Lower FY10 Outlook. Revenue growth now 2% - 4%, and an EPS lowered from $2.40 - $2.65 to $2.10 - $2.30. EPS consensus is $2.45. The stock was also downgraded at Raymond James.

ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACAD) 21.3% HIGHER; today announced that it has initiated a new Phase III trial designed to evaluate the efficacy, tolerability and safety of pimavanserin as a treatment for patients with Parkinson’s disease psychosis (PDP). Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS) 17.5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.41, versus the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter was $458 million, which compares to the estimate of $436.94 million. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.48 - $0.49, versus $0.48 consensus. Also sees Q3 sales of $450 - $460 million, versus $446 million consensus. The stock was also upgraded at Baird, Citi, Cowen and Deutsche Bank.

Newport Corp. (Nasdaq: NEWP) 17.2% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.22, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter was $114.6 million, which compares to the estimate of $110.63 million. Sees FY10 EPS of $0.80-$0.90.

A.T. Cross Company (NYSE: ATX) 16.1% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.20, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $41.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $39.10 million. Raises its FY10 EPS guidance from $0.34 to about $0.45, which compares to the Street estimate of $0.36.
