USEC, Inc. (NYSE: USU) 126.9% HIGHER; ripping higher on momentum, hitting its highest levels since last February. Weighted-average number of shares outstanding was 124 million, with about 13.69 million being held short. Total public float is about 5 million shares. News may be tied to Sunday's Japanese elections, with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's Liberal Democratic Party winning in upper-house elections. BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCRX) 42.1% HIGHER; announced that the randomized, placebo-controlled, Phase 1 clinical trial of orally-administered BCX4161 in healthy volunteers successfully met all of its objectives. The safety, tolerability, drug exposure and on-target kallikrein inhibition results of this Phase 1 trial strongly support advancing the development program into a Phase 2a study in hereditary angioedema (HAE) patients. Himax Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: HIMX) 32.7% HIGHER; announced that it has entered into an agreement ("the Agreement") with Google Inc. pursuant to which Google has agreed to invest in the Company's subsidiary, Himax Display Inc. ("HDI"). The purpose of the investment is to fund production upgrades, expand capacity and further enhance production capabilities at HDI's facilities that produce liquid crystal on silicon ("LCOS") chips and modules used in applications including head-mounted display (HMD) such as Google Glass, head-up display (HUD) and pico-projector products.

Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ALSK) 26.5% HIGHER; could be moving higher on a positive blog post made last Friday, which highlighted the potential benefit to Alaska Communications on FCC approval of its General Communications acquisition.

Federal-Mogul Corporation (Nasdaq: FDML) 24.7% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.57, from a loss of $0.60 per share last year and consensus views looking for EPS of $0.39.

Oxygen Biotherapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: OXBT) 23.1% LOWER; announced the pricing of a public offering and the entry into definitive agreements with investors for the sale of securities with gross proceeds to the Company of approximately $5.4 million.

Uranium Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: URRE) 20.3% HIGHER; could also be moving higher on Japan's elections today. This will be the third-straight session of gains of the move is held through the end of the trading session.

Tower International (NYSE: TOWR) 15.9% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.03, $0.43 better than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $556 million versus the consensus estimate of $552.19 million.

Furniture Brands International (NYSE: FBN) 11.7% LOWER; lower as large holder Magnificent Capital disclosed selling 33,800 shares on July 17th for an average price of $4.033 per share.

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (Nasdaq: MLNX) 8.4% LOWER; seeing some active trading into its Q2 report, which is scheduled to be released on Wednesday.

Celsion Corp. (Nasdaq: CLSN) 8.5% LOWER; traders are taking a little profit following a 16.4 percent move higher last Friday on news that Cesion and Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to pursue ongoing collaborations for the continued clinical development of ThermoDox as well as the technology transfer relating to the commercial manufacture of ThermoDox for the greater China territory.
