FX Alliance (NYSE: FX) 40.2% HIGHER; Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of FX for $22 per share in cash.
Amerigroup Corporation (NYSE: AGP) 38.1% HIGHER; WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) and Amerigroup announced today that they have entered into a definitive agreement through which WellPoint will acquire Amerigroup for $92/share in cash.

Bridgepoint Education's (NYSE: BPI) 22.8% LOWER; Ashford University received notice on July 5, 2012 that the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges acted to deny Ashford University's application for initial accreditation.

Luminex Corporation (Nasdaq: LMNX) 16.9% LOWER; today announced a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held, GenturaDx, for a cash payment of $50 million, subject to working capital reconciliation and potential additional contingent consideration for achievement of future milestones and/or product revenue performance. Luminex anticipates the acquisition will add approximately $6 million in 2012 operating expenses, excluding acquisition related expenses.
Tronox Inc. (Nasdaq: TROX) 12.6% LOWER; slammed following news out of Australia's Iluka Resources that it cut its full-year sales guidance saying that worsening global conditions were impacting demand for materials such as zircon and rutile.
Patriot Coal Corp. (NYSE: PCX) 10.5% LOWER; Patriot still lower as demand in the coal sector still expected to be limited with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao saying there was "huge pressure" on the economy. China is the world's largest consumer of coal.
A123 (Nasdaq: AONE) 9.5% LOWER; continuing lower following news of a 7.7 million share direct offering at $1.30 per share on Friday and the resulting 10.8 percent plunge in the stock.
