Gevo, Inc. (Nasdaq: GEVO) 33.8% HIGHER; announces the signing of a collaborative agreement with the intent to site a cellulosic biomass isobutanol facility in Southeast Asia. Gevo’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Chris Ryan, signed the collaborative agreement with representatives from the Malaysian government’s East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), Malaysian Biotechnology Corp (BiotechCorp) and the State Government of Terengganu.
FSI International, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSII) 17.6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.25, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $50.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $50.4 million. Sees Q4 2012 revenue of $40-$45 million, versus the consensus of $48.07 million.

Medgenics, Inc. (NYSE: MDGN) 15.2% HIGHER; today announced that its INFRADURE™ Biopump has received Orphan Drug Designation from the U.S. FDA Office of Orphan Products Development (OOPD) for the treatment of hepatitis D. INFRADURE is the version of Medgenics’ Biopump technology platform which produces interferon alpha, commonly used to treat hepatitis.
James River Coal (Nasdaq: JRCC) 13.8% HIGHER; continuing higher as coal stocks continue to bounce. The stock rose nearly 20 percent to close last week's session, and was up another 12 percent to start this week.
Cytokinetics, Incorporated (Nasdaq: CYTK) 13.8% LOWER; announced the pricing of concurrent, separate underwritten offerings of (i) 55.9M shares of its common stock and accompanying warrants to purchase 0.6 shares of common stock for each share purchased at a price to the public of $0.76 for each share of common stock and accompanying warrant, expected gross proceeds of $42.5M, and (ii) 23,026 shares of its Series B Convertible Preferred Stock and accompanying warrants to purchase 600 shares of common stock for each share of Series B purchased, at a price to the public of $760.00 for each share of Series B and accompanying warrants, for expected gross proceeds of $17.5M.

La-Z-Boy, Inc. (NYSE: LZB) 10.9% LOWER; reported Q4 GAAP EPS of $0.37, which does not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.26. The profit includes a $0.19 per share in anti-dumping duties. Revenue for the quarter came in at $327.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $333.72 million. Same-store written sales were up 10 percent.
ZaZa Energy (Nasdaq: ZAZA) 10.3% LOWER; traders finally taking profits following a run-up since the first week of June. Shares were up more than 50 percent since then. Shares are below a support level at $4.25.
