Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) 45.4% LOWER; to delist from the NYSE and trade on the OTC.

Fannie Mae (NYSE: FNM) 42.6% LOWER; see Freddie Mac.

Curis, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRIS) 40.5% LOWER; announced topline results from a Phase II clinical trial conducted by Roche and Genentech, Curis’ collaborator and a wholly owned member of the Roche Group, of GDC-0449, a first-in-class Hedgehog pathway inhibitor. GDC-0449 was tested in combination with Avastin and FOLFOX or FOLFIRI chemotherapy in first-line metastatic colorectal cancer patients.

United Western Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: UWBK) 37.8% HIGHER; has entered into a definitive agreement whereby the Bank has agreed to purchase from Legent Group, LLC all of the outstanding equity interests in Legent Clearing, LLC, for a combination of $13,000,000 cash, and equity in the form of 2,419,688 shares of the Company’s common stock, subject to final closing adjustments for certain provisions as provided for in the purchase agreement. The closing of the acquisition is subject to receipt of all regulatory approvals.

Uranium Resources (NASDAQ: URRE) 32.4% HIGHER; announced today that the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit en banc held today that the Company’s Section 8 property in Churchrock, New Mexico is not Indian Country.

Somanetics Corporation (NASDAQ: SMTS) 31.4% HIGHER; Covidien plc (NYSE: COV) and Somanetics signed a definitive merger agreement under which Covidien will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Somanetics Corporation for $25.00 per share in cash, for a total of $250 million, net of cash acquired.

Pyramid Oil (AMEX: PDO) 29.4% HIGHER; traders may be buying the stock today amid Blue Dolphin news [see below].

Wireless Ronin Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: RNIN) 27.4% HIGHER; Seeing a little resistance in the $1.25 - $1.30 range, broke through that this morning and is currently trading at $1.58.

Blue Dolphin (Nasdaq: BDCO) 26.7% HIGHER; continuing higher today following yesterday's 76% surge amid news that the company has signed a commitment letter with Blue Sky Langsa, Ltd. to acquire 70% working interest in a Technical Assistance Contract for the Langsa area, Offshore Indonesia in a non-cash transaction.

Genoptix (Nasdaq: GXDX) 21.9% LOWER; lowers its FY10 EPS guidance from $1.80-$1.85 to $1.20, sales move from $235-$240 million to $210 million. The Street is currently looking for FY10 EPS and sales of $1.77 and $228.82 million, respectively.

JDA Software Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: JDAS) 19.9% LOWER; announced that a jury in the District Court of the State of Texas, County of Dallas returned a verdict yesterday in litigation between Dillard’s, Inc. (NYSE: DDS) and i2 Technologies, Inc., which JDA acquired on January 28, 2010. Dillard’s alleged that i2 had failed to meet obligations to Dillard’s regarding two i2 products under a software license agreement and related services agreement for which Dillard’s had paid i2 approximately $8 million. The Texas jury awarded approximately $246 million in damages to Dillard’s under various theories, of which only $8 million were direct damages, and $238 million of which were based on alleged consequential, special or punitive damages.
