Jones Soda Co. (Nasdaq: JSDA) 57.4% HIGHER; announced a deal with Walmart (NYSE: WMT) that authorizes Jones to retail its products in Walmart's approximately 3,800 U.S.-based stores. The deal increases Jones’ total retail outlet distribution by nearly 10%, and will make the product easily accessible to millions of new consumers.

FSI International (Nasdaq: FSII) 36.4% HIGHER; raises its Q3 sales guidance from $23-$25 million to $27-$29 million. The Street is currently looking for sales of $24.15 million.

Toreador Resources Corp. (Nasdaq: TRGL) 19.5% HIGHER; today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program. The program authorizes the Company to repurchase up to an aggregate of up to $5 million of the Company’s outstanding common stock over the next 12 months in open market or private transactions and at the discretion of management based on, among other things, the Company’s ongoing capital requirements and the market price of its common stock.

Rodman & Renshaw (Nasdaq: RODM) 19.5% HIGHER; continuing higher following a nearly 19% move higher yesterday on news of a $5 million buyback.

NetApp (NYSE: NTAP) 16.3% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.50, ex-items, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter was $1.17 billion, which compares to the estimate of $1.09 billion. Sees Q1 sales of $1.1-$1.14 billion, versus the consensus of $1.04 billion. Sees adj-EPS of $0.43-$0.47, versus the consensus of $0.37.

Verifone (NYSE: PAY) 17.2% HIGHER; reports Q2 adjusted EPS of $0.29, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter was $240.7 million, which compares to the estimate of $227.36 million. Sees Q310 adjusted EPS $0.29 - $0.30, versus $0.28 consensus. Sales of $245 - $250 million, versus $235.6 million consensus. Raises FY10 Outlook. Sees EPS from $1.00 - $1.10, to $1.12 - $1.15, versus $1.09 consensus. The stock was also upgraded at Wedbush.

ZIOPHARM (Nasdaq: ZIOP) 10.8% LOWER; priced 7 million shares at $5 per share.

Education Management Corporation (Nasdaq: EDMC) 10.0% LOWER; down today on comments out of Steve Eisman of FrontPoint Financial Services Fund, whom outlined at the Ira Sohn Conference this year, that as employment rises, the EPS of this company and other educational companies, could decline as much as 40%.

Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE: BGP) 8.3% LOWER; reported a Q1 operating loss of $1.08, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.14), and ($1.44) reported for the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter was $547.2 million, which compares to the estimate of $589.88 million.

Rambus Inc. (RMBS) 7.8% LOWER; down today after the International Trade Commission postponed their decision regarding Rambus' patent infringement case until the end of July. The ITC was supposed to make a decsion Monday, which was then supposed to be released yesterday. Click Here for the presser from Rambus on the news.

Monsanto Co. (MON) 7.5% LOWER; the company lowered their outlook for FY10 EPS today, and is repositioning their RoundUp brand on concerns in the glyphosate industry. Click Here to read more from the presser.
