Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 05/25: (MSO) (GMO) (ZLC) Higher; (CGA) (PSS) (FSIN) Lower

Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (NYSE: MSO) 28.4% HIGHER; announced that Blackstone Advisory Partners has been retained to review and respond to various parties that have expressed interest in potentially partnering with or investing in the Company, as well as exploring other opportunities. The company also announced that Lisa Gersh will be joining the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer effective June 6, 2011. The Company also announced today it is expected that Martha Stewart will rejoin MSLO's Board of Directors in the third quarter of this year.

China Green Agriculture, Inc. (NYSE: CGA) 18.1% LOWER; could be a technical move here as shares get below the $6.14 mark, which caused a sharp sell off yesterday. The stock is down over 28 percent the last two days. Shares also hit a new 52-week low of $4.65.

General Moly, Inc. (AMEX: GMO) 16.6% HIGHER; said that its NPV per share should be $15.17 based on a price of $15 per pound for molybdenum in a slide presentation for a Goldman Sachs conference tomorrow.

Zale Corp. (NYSE: ZLC) 15.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.31), 27 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.58). Revenue for the quarter came in at $411.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $391.96 million. Third-quarter comparable-store sales up 15.2%.

Collective Brands, Inc (NYSE: PSS) 15.6% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.42, 40 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.82. Revenue for the quarter came in at $869 million versus the consensus estimate of $915.05 million. Comps down 7.4 percent.

Carter's (NYSE: CRI) 14.3% HIGHER; in a 13D filing last night, Berkshire Partners reports a 13.4 percent stake in Carter's. The filing status allows the company's to engage in strategic talks.

Derma Sciences (Nasdaq: DSCI) 12.3% HIGHER; reports continued healing at 24 weeks in patients with diabetic foot ulcers treated with DSC127 in Phase 2 trial. The company has said wounds are up to 5 times more likely to heal with DSC127.

Fushi Copperweld, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSIN) 12.3% LOWER; Fushi saw a little more acceleration in selling as shares moved below the $6.00 price level to a new 52-week low of $5.21. Volume today is already past the trailing three-month daily average. Over the last month, Fushi has only seen two days end positive.

Express (NYSE: EXPR) 12.6% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.42, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $467.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $459.7 million. Comps were up 8% for the quarter. Express sees FY2011 EPS of $1.52 - $1.61, versus prior guidance of $1.48-$1.60 and the consensus of $1.57. The company forecasts Q2 EPS of $0.12 - $0.15 versus the consensus of $0.16.

Dycom Industries, Inc. (NYSE: DY) 11.4% HIGHER; reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.10, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $252.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $250.66 million. Also authorized a $20 million buyback plan.

Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. (NYSE: RL) 8.6% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.74, 5 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.79. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.43 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.39 billion. The Company also announced a $500 million common stock buyback.
