Golfsmith International Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOLF) 29.5% HIGHER; Golf Town and Golfsmith announced today that they have signed a definitive merger agreement, pursuant to which Golf Town will acquire Golfsmith, a leading specialty golf retailer in the United States, for US $6.10 per share in cash.

Citizens South Banking Corporation (Nasdaq: CSBC) 23.2% HIGHER; Park Sterling Corporation
(Nasdaq: PSTB) and Citizens South Banking Corporation jointly announced today the signing of a definitive merger agreement under which Park Sterling will acquire Citizens South for a total value of approximately
$77.8 million, excluding the exchange of $20.5 million in preferred stock issued to the United States Department of the Treasury in connection with Citizens South's participation in the Small Business Lending Fund. Under the terms of the merger agreement, Citizens South shareholders will have the right to receive either $7.00 in cash or 1.4799 Park Sterling shares for each Citizens South share they hold, subject to the limitation that the total consideration will consist of 30.0% in cash and 70.0% in Park Sterling shares.

Groupon, Inc. (Nasdaq: GRPN) 19.9% HIGHER; seeing increased activity into first-quarter 2012 numbers, expected out after the market closes Monday.

Ventrus Biosciences Inc. (Nasdaq: VTUS) 19.5% HIGHER; reported positive results from pivotal Phase 3 Trial of Diltiazem (VEN 307) in patients with anal fissures. Click here to see the full report.

Keryx Biopharma (Nasdaq: KERX) 15.9% HIGHER; shares are continuing higher following a 13 percent rise on Thursday and another 15 percent rise on Friday. The stock is over resistance at $2 this morning.

Horizon Pharma (Nasdaq: HZNP) 13.9% HIGHER; pushed over resistance at $4 just after the opening this morning. Volume is extremely heavy.

Ancestry.com Inc. (Nasdaq: ACOM) 13.9% LOWER; shares are under massive pressure early Monday after NBC decided not to renew the "Who Do You Think You Are?" television series for a fourth season.

Anika Therapeutics (Nasdaq: ANIK) 13.1% LOWER; traders likely taking some profits today following nearly 60 percent run-up since the beginning of 2012. The stock is below $14 today.

NetQin Mobile (NYSE: NQ) 13.0% LOWER; continuing lower on pressure from a 6 million ADS offering as shares move back below the $10 level. The move is coupled with increased volume.

ChipMOS (Nasdaq: IMOS) 12.6% HIGHER; trading higher today as a Barron's piece from over the weekend suggested the company could rise about 30 percent over the next year.

A123 Systems (Nasdaq: AONE) 11.2% LOWER; Craig-Hallum downgraded from Hold to Sell.

K-V Pharma (Nasdaq: KV-A) 11.5% LOWER; the stock has broken below the $1 level for the first time since November. Prior to that dip, the stock had not been below $1 since mid 2010.
