Kendle International Inc. (Nasdaq: KNDL) 57.9% HIGHER; announced an agreement to be acquired by INC Research, LLC for $15.25 per share in cash, or approximately $232 million.

Timberland Co. (NYSE: TBL) 28.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.35, 24 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $349 million versus the consensus estimate of $361.01 million.

Smith Micro Software Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI) 23.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.13), 1 cent worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.12). Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $17.17 million. Merriman and Canaccord Genuity downgraded the stock earlier.

Gibraltar Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROCK) 22.9% HIGHER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.11, versus ($0.05) reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $16.3 million, compared to $146.7 million in Q110.

DUSA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: DUSA) 22.5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.07, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter came in at $11.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $9.79 million.

Polypore International Inc. (NYSE: PPO) 20.1% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.55, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter came in at $185.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $164.38 million.

Sino Clean Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: SCEI) 18.9% LOWER; reported that it will seek legal action "against those responsible for the malicious and fraudulent attacks on Sino Clean Energy."

The Men's Wearhouse (NYSE: MW) 17.8% HIGHER; reports total sales for Q111 were $520.7 million, up 10.8 percent from the same period last year. Men's Wearhouse same store sales rose 10.8 percent. Increases non-GAAP EPS from, $0.30 to $0.47 - $0.50, versus consensus of $0.29.

Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO) 15.7% LOWER; reports total sales for Q1 were $469.2 million, up 1 percent from the same period last year. Same store sales down 7 percent. Lowers its Q1 EPS guidance from $0.35 - $0.38 to about $0.20. The Street is looking for quarterly EPS of $0.37.

Sauer-Danfoss Inc. (NYSE: SHS) 14.7% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.46, versus $0.43 last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $564.7 million, versus $386.77 million last year. Sees FY2011 EPS of $3.50-$4.50. Sees Annual sales increasing 20 to 30 percent from 2010 levels (previously 10 to 20 percent).

Global Industries Ltd. (Nsdaq: GLBL) 14.3% LOWER; reported Q1 loss of $0.30, which was 28 cents worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $70 million versus the consensus estimate of $123.52 million.
