Vital Images, Inc. (Nasdaq: VTAL) 31.5% HIGHER; announced an agreement to be acquired by Toshiba Medical Systems for $18.75 per share, or approximately $273 million in the aggregate.

Evergreen Solar (Nasdaq: ESLR) 30.3% LOWER; sees Q1 shipments of 18MW at average selling price of $1.86. As of April 2nd, the company had cash and cash equivalents of $38.5 million.

LoopNet, Inc. (Nasdaq: LOOP) 27.7% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.10, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $20.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $20.38 million. SunTrust downgraded the stock earlier. Furthermore, LoopNet is to be acquired by CoStar Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSGP) for $16.50 per share in cash and 0.03702 shares of Co Star, in a deal valued at approximately $860 million

Axcelis Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS) 24.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.02, 1 cent worse than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $93.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $94.35 million. Axcelis was also downgraded at Craig-Hallum.

Trunkbow (Nasdaq: TBOW) 23.8% HIGHER; technicians seem to be taking shares of this Beijing-based company over a resistance level at $4 today. The stock has been below this level since early-April. Volume is currently very heavy.

Sino Clean Energy (Nasdaq: SCEI) 22.8% LOWER; the stock fell sharply midday as Alfred Little has highlighted the stock as yet another China fraud.

Gulf Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: GFRE) 20.0% HIGHER; issued a response to recent allegations related to the reliability of its filings with the SEC created by Glaucus Research Group and distributed on Seeking Alpha on April 26, 2011. Click here to read the allegations and responses.

OfficeMax Incorporated (NYSE: OMX) 19.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.13, 14 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.86 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.86 billion.

SurModics Inc. (Nasdaq: SRDX) 18.7% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.08, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $14.82 million. Increases FY11 EPS outlook to $0.13 - $0.26, versus the consensus of $0.05. Also increases FY2011 revenue outlook to $63 - $68 million, versus the consensus of $60.01 million.

Harte-Hanks Inc. (NYSE: HHS) 18.5% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.12, 5 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $200.31 million versus the consensus estimate of $206.11 million.

Valassis Communications Inc. (NYSE: VCI) 18.4% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.57, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $547 million versus the consensus estimate of $553.09 million. Sees FY11 EPS of $2.76, versus the consensus of $2.83.
